A very scarce original First World War period 'H.M.S. Carysfort sweetheart brooch', in the form of a hollow silver torpedo mounted with an curved gold plated title scroll, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details 'F.H.M' ((Frank H Mannox Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, contact fuse pins and fins, with no dents or distortions, an excellent example. Length approx 57mm. HMS Carysfort C-class light cruiser built at Pembroke Dockyardfor the Royal Navy in the 1914. She served in the First World War as part of the Grand Fleet. In 1922, she patrolled off the Irish coast during the Irish Civil War.

A scarce original circa 1930's period 'Royal Army Pay Corps badge', a unique example handcrafted from mother of pearl, usually in Jerusalem or Bethlehem. Very good condition and with original pin fitting now corroded, not suitable for wear, collectors item only. Height 28mm. Many year ago, two old soldiers who served in the Middle East, saw one of these mother of pearl badges on my stall in London and told me that you would give one of these skilled craftsmen in the market, your cap badge for a short time and they would produce a copy of it in Mother of Pearl, to give to a loved one.
