A superb First World War period scarce 'Loyal North Lancashire Regiment sweetheart brooch', the badge of the Regiment, a red rose surmounted by 'The Royal Crest' with title scroll below, in unmarked fine quality precious metal inlaid with translucent enamelling and mounted on a pin bar, typical of the period. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, perfect enamel, an excellent example.
