WW1 Union of South Africa Defence Force, Mother of Pearl Sweetheart Brooch.

A scarce original First World War period 'Union of South Africa Defence Force sweetheart brooch'; cap badge style brass badge bearing a Springbok antelope's head, the circular title "Union is Strength" "Eendracht Maakt Macht" inlaid with blue enamel and mounted on a mother of pearl disc. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel.
