A scarce original First World War period 'Royal Navy White Ensign flag brooch' red St George's Cross on white translucent enamel, the Union Flag in the upper canton; the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details 'JA&S' (J Aitkin & Son Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no stress marks or damage to the enamel.
