A rare original First World War period 'Lincolnshire Yeomanry silver sweetheart brooch', depicting a central shield from the 'Arms of the City of Lincoln' surmounted by a King's Crown, set within a laurel wreath bearing tri-part title scroll below; the reverse impressed "Sterling" and maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with all of the gold plating to the front of the badge. Height 22mm. ALL BROOCHES ARE SUPPLIED WITH A BRAND NEW BLACK PLUSH LINED PRESENTATION BOX.
