A very scarce original First World War period 'H.M.S. Carysfort sweetheart brooch', in the form of a hollow silver torpedo mounted with an curved gold plated title scroll, the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details 'F.H.M' ((Frank H Mannox Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, contact fuse pins and fins, with no dents or distortions, an excellent example. Length approx 57mm. HMS Carysfort C-class light cruiser built at Pembroke Dockyardfor the Royal Navy in the 1914. She served in the First World War as part of the Grand Fleet. In 1922, she patrolled off the Irish coast during the Irish Civil War.

A scarce original circa First World War period 'HMS Valiant naval sweetheart badge' depicting a cockeral over red enamel motto scroll 'Valiant Yet Vigilant' resting on blue enamel title scroll; the reverse impressed 'Sterling Silver' and mounted on a coiled end pin bar, very typical of the period. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel. Height 26mm. Width 38mm. HMS Valiant was a Queen Elizabeth-class Battleship built by the Fairfield Shipbuilding and Engineering Company, launched November 1914 and Commissioned February 1916, part of Fifth Battle Squadron of the Grand Fleet she fought at the Battle of Jutland. She also served in World War II and was sold for scrapping in 1948.

A rare original circa First World War period'HMS Defence naval sweetheart badge'; silver blue enamel strap, the centre bearing embossed crowned Union Flag within a 'Trophy of Arms' the reverse impressed 'Silver' and mounted on a coiled end pin bar, very typical of the period. Very good condition, no damage to the enamel. Height 26mm. Width 40mm. HMS Defence was a Minotaur-class armoured cruiser, launched on 24 April 1907, sunk at the Battle of Jutland in 31 May 1916.

Concord badge, in the form of a hollow silver anchor with applied gold plated curved title scroll the reverse impressed with Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1917 and maker's details 'F.H.M' (Frank Henry Mannox). Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no dents or distortions to the front. Length 35mm. In 1916 HMS Concord was assigned to the 5th Light Cruiser Squadron, which operated as part of Harwich Force in the North Sea to defend the eastern approaches to the Strait of Dover and English Channel. In 1918 'Ignacy Jan Paderewski' Polish pianist and composer and member of the Polish National Committee re-organising Polish state after 123 years of partitions, arrived at Gdańsk (Danzig) on board HMS Concord on his way to Poznań and Warsaw.

Naval Crowned rope edge circlet, the centre depicting the trophies of war on turquoise blue enamel ground, with motto below 'Battle is our Business', mounted on a slender flat bar, very typical of the period, the reverse impressed 'Silver'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 25mm. Width 52mm. HMS Bellona was the name ship of her sub-class of light cruisers for the Royal Navy, entering service in 1943, the cruiser operated during World War II as an escort for the Arctic convoys, and as a jamming ship to prevent the use of radio-controlled bombs and in support of the Omaha Beach landings. In 1946 the cruiser was loaned to the Royal New Zealand Navy, returning to the Royal Navy in 1956 and scrapped in circa 1959.

Queen Elizabeth sweetheart brooch', in the form of a hollow silver torpedo mounted with a cut out representation of 'Good Queen Bess' with title scroll below, the reverse impressed with Chester silver hallmarks for 1914 and maker's details 'F.H.M' ((Frank H Mannox Birmingham.). Good condition, complete with original pin fitting and old replacement hook, no dents or distortions to front, minor one to reverse. Length approx 57mm. HMS Queen Elizabeth was the lead ship of her class of dreadnought battleships built for the Royal Navy in the early 1910s, and was often used as a flagship. She served in the First World War as part of the Grand Fleet.

Excellent condition, complete with original pin fittings, no dents or distortions. Length 40mm. HMS Assistance served with the Grand Fleet at Scapa and Cromarty throughout the war. 'Vice-Admiral Harry Mervyn Kemmis Betty' commanded the repair ship from January 1913 to April 1919.

A scarce original Great War period 'H.M.S.Britannia badge, in the form of a hollow silver anchor with applied gold plated lettering the reverse impressed with Chester silver hallmarks for 1915. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no dents or distortions. Length 40mm. H.M.S. Britannia was a King Edward VII-class pre-dreadnought battleship of the Royal Navy. She was named after Britannia, the Latin name of Great Britain under Roman rule. On 9 November 1918, just two days before the end of the war, she was torpedoed by a German submarine off Cape Trafalgar and sank with the loss of 50 lives. H.M.S.Britannia was one of the last British warships to be sunk in the war.

Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel intact, no dents or distortions, an excellent example. Length 40mm. Royay Navy ship HMS Teaser was a R-class destroyer, built in the First World War by Thornycroft and launched in 1917. On trial she proved to be one of the fastest ships afloat. She joined the Harwich Force and served as part of the Tenth Destroyer Flotilla during the war. She was sold for scrapping in 1931.

Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no dents or distortions, an excellent example. Length 41mm. HMS Garyfort was a light cruiser built in the First World War launched in 1914 and assigned to the Grand Fleet, the Harwich Force and the Dover Patrol, she also served as a flagship. Her only known combat was a short battle against German torpedo boats in the English Channel. She was sold for scrapping in 1931.
