A very rare, superb quality 'Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps regimental gold and enamel brooch' Queen Elizabeth crowned wreath bearing "Sub cruce Candida" (Under the White Cross) scrolls, the Dannebrog lettered "A" for Alexandra to the center "Q.A.R.A.N.C" blue enamel title below; the reverse impressed with Birmingham 9ct gold hallmarks for 1990 and maker's details "G & Co Ld" (Garrard & Co, London) the Crown Jewellers. Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch in good working order, enamel perfect. An excellent example, highly reccommended. Height 35mm.
