A rare original First World War period '16th The Queen's Lancers gilt and enamel sweetheart brooch', Crowned crossed lancers "16" superimposed on the cross, resting on a blue enamel scroll "The Queen's Lancers". Very good condition. retaining original pin fitting, old replacement hook, very minor service wear to the enamel.
A rare pre 1905 '16th Queen's Lancers hollow silver sweetheart brooch' the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks (the date letter being obscured by the hook), and maker's details "F.N". Very good condition.
A rare First World War period The Queen's Lancers sweetheart brooch, the reverse impressed "18ct" (18 carat Gold). Very good condition. original pin fittings incorporating safety roller catch.
A very fine example, the reverse impressed "15ct" (15 carat gold). Remains in superb condition, no damage to the enamel and housed in its original retailers leather fitted case.

Royal Warrant of 1768 states that the 16th Light Dragoons displayed Queen Charlotte's Cypher ("C") on their housings, holster caps and guidons.
