A rare original Victorian antique '4th (Queen's Own) Hussars sweetheart brooch'; large ornate hollow silver example the reverse bearing Birmingham silver hallmarks for 1896 and maker's details "F.N" (F. Narborough Birmingham). Very good condition, complete with all baubles, retaining original pin fittings, small dent to rim of central disc in the 8 o'clock position, complete with original velvet lined fitted leather display case unique to these style of brooches.
A rare First World War period '4th (Queen's Own) Hussars sweetheart brooch'; the heavy gold fronted badge mounted on a 1912 Officer's pattern style sword, the reverse impressed "Sterling" and maker's details "A.Bros"(Ahronsberg Brothers Birmingham). Excellent condition, retaining original pin fittings and all of the gold plating to the front of the badge.
