A rare Edwardian 'Royal Scots Greys' cavalry sweetheart brooch, in the form of a crowned circle with motto 'Nemo Me Impune Lacessit', resting in a title scroll 'Royal Scots Greys' and mounted to a hollow silver horseshoe by two pins and retainers, the reverse bearing Birmingham hallmarks for 1908 and maker's details "MB". Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, no dents or distortion, manufacturers flaw to left side of scroll. Height 30mm.
