A rare original circa 1940's 'City of London Yeomanry (Rough Riders) sweetheart brooch' in the form of a 'RR' cypher set with marcasite stones superimposed on a spur; the reverse impressed 'Silver England'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, roller safety catch in good working order, all stones present.
A scarce original circa 1940's 'City of London Yeomanry (Rough Riders) lapel badge'; gilded brass oval example, displaying a gilt spur with the letters "RR" superimposed over French Grey enamel with central purple stripe; the reverse impressed with maker's details "J.R.Gaunt, London". Excellent condition, retaining original buttonhole fitting, enamel perfect, gilded finish remains bright.
