WW1 9th County of London Battalion Queen Victoria Rifles White Faced Enamel Sweetheart Brooch.


A scarce original Great War period 'Queen Victoria's Rifles sweetheart brooch'; large gilded brass shield inland with white enamel, the centre bearing a blue cross, mounted with a King's Crown on honour tablet "South Africa 1900-02" the centre title circlet depicting 'St.George and the Dragon' within. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright.
Height 37mm.
