A scarce original circa 1940's period 'Army Air Corps silver and enamel sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature represention of the beret badge; the reverse impressed "Sterling Silver". Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, enamel perfect, an excellent clean example.
Height 39mm.

The Army Air Corps were raised in 1940, disbanded in 1950.

A rare original Second World War period unique 'Army Air Corps sweetheart brooch', handmade from mother of pearl shell and ornamented into brooch, on the same design as the cap badge. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings complete but unsuitable for wear due to fragility, an excellent example.

The 'Army Air Corps' was raised in 1940 and disbanded in 1950.
