A fine quality scarce original Great War period 'East Surrey Regiment sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature badge with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse bearing Chester silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling and all the gold plating to the front of the badge.
A perfect example of an original Second World War period 'East Surrey Regiment sweetheart brooch come tiepin'; gilded brass example following the lines of the regiments cap badge, enhanced with red and blue enamelling and mounted on a slender bar. Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, enamel perfect, gilt finish remains bright.
