A good quality circa First World War period 'East Surrey Regiment silver and enamel sweetheart brooch' in the form of a miniature representation of the cap badge, an eight pointed star the topmost displaced by a Crown, the centre bearing a shield with embossed Arms of Guildford with blue enamel title scroll below; the reverse with maker's details 'T.L.M' (Thomas Lyster Mott) and impressed 'STERLING'. Very good condition, complete with original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel. Height 28mm.

A fine quality scarce original Great War period 'East Surrey Regiment sweetheart brooch', in the form of a miniature badge with heavy gold plated finish, mounted to a S.M.L.E rifle, the reverse bearing Chester silver hallmarks for 1915 and maker's details "A.Bros" (Ahronsberg Brothers, Birmingham). Very good condition, retaining original pin fittings, complete with original rifle sling and all the gold plating to the front of the badge. Width 50mm. Height 19mm.
