WW1 Royal Navy H.M.S.King George V White Faced Enamel Sweetheart Brooch.
A rare First World War gilt and enamel, white faced enamel naval brooch, very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, gilt fresh.
Height 33mm.
Battle of Jutland HMS King George V launched in 1911, decommissioned in 1919 and used as a training ship, scrapped in 1926.

Royal Navy H.M.S. Milford, Gilt & Enamel Lifebuoy & Oars Sweetheart Brooch.
A well designed scarce circa 1940's gilt and enamel brooch, very good condition, original pin fittings, no damage to the enamel, applied badge to centre slightly offset.
Height 27mm.
HMS Milford was a Shoreham-class sloop launched in 1932 and scrapped in 1949 she saw much active service during the Second World War sinking the Vichy French submarine Poncelet off the coast of Gabon.

This is a rare gilt and enamel brooch for the ill fated Royal Navy Auxiliaries Armed Boarding Steamer which was torpedoed on the 25th August 1916 and sunk in the Pentland Skerries.The brooch remains in good condition, no damage to the enamel a few manufacturing firing faults, but the hook and pin shank are both replacements.
