Army Educational Corps Gold Regimental Sweetheart Brooch.
A very rare 1920-1948 pattern fine quality brooch, open book with white translucent enamel resting on crossed lances and rifles, the reverse impressed "9ct" (9 carat gold). Very good condition, original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, no damage to the enamel and contained in what appears to be its original "Goldsmiths & Silversmiths Company Ltd" velvet lined fitted leather case.

EIIR Royal Army Educational Corps Gold Regimental RAEC Brooch by Garrard.
A superb quality example, reverse with Birmingham gold hallmarks for 1986 and maker mark G & Co Ld in trefoil (Garrard & Co, London ) the Crown Jewellers. Remains in very good condition, original pin fittings incorporating safety catch, enamel good except for tiny nick to bottom right of scroll visible only with glass.
